Jackson spent much of his summer watching River Monsters. He also spent much of his summer mimicking the show's star, Jeremy's fishing techniques. His favorite line: "Fish On!" This particular weekend Jackson was determined to catch a big one...and he did...but not in the way he expected. It took us awhile to register what "I got a fish!" meant.

We think this bass just got stuck in the hot, shallow water where the oxygen was low. Poopa ended up relocating it to the deeper side of the dock, where it seemed to revive and swim away. Whatever the reasons for this great catch, Jackson had a HUGE smile on his face for the remainder of the weekend. He definitely won't forget this one (and neither will we).
