It is Finished

Jack's pumpkin costume, that is. He very proudly sported it around the house today. You are going to have to wait for a picture...but it is SO cute. Ad wants so badly to be a "punkin" too, but the costume dictator (Jack) has spoken and there will be no changing now. I'll start on her spider costume tonight. Of course she has her trusty Cinderella dress if she's not quite feeling the spider gig on Halloween.

While I'm here I will tell you a sweet Addie story. She is all about the baby Jesus these days. She likes to carry around a little baby Jesus and manger from a nativity set that I keep in a bookcase for the kids. This weekend, on our way to Stillwater, we'd hear her little voice from the backseat: "uh-oh, Baby Jeesuth," which meant she dropped baby Jesus...or "uh-oh, Baby Jeesuth bed," which meant she dropped the manger. Each time, I'd twist around in my seat and do my best to retrieve him before she started crying. On top of all of this, she would demand: "Again!" --which was our cue to start singing Away in a Manger. Today David and I had to respond to a few "Again!" demands. We are now in the market for a doll that sings it for us...
