Going Green?

The whole green thing kind of makes me laugh. I was raised by a mother who made her own cleaners, used old newspaper to clean glass & mirrors, gardened w/o pestisides, composted, etc., before there was a trendy word for doing so.

Did you know you can make your own laundry soap?! I know what you are thinking, but you don't have to smell like an armpit, or love Al Gore to do it. Here is a site that walks you through a few different recipes or you can buy handmade stuff here.

I always love to find new, chemical free ways to clean. My newest find are dryer balls. No chemicals...just wooly goodness. And they really work!
