You've all pestered me enough that I'm staying up late tonight to appease you! I love to see who of you faithfully keep checking in to see if there's anything new on the Ross blog. Ha! I'll give you the short version through pictures. Scroll down.

I know I'm biased. But how cute is my little girl?! That's "a little itchy" on her cheek. The mosquitoes love her sweet face too.

She loves her goggles even if they are just for looks

Jack's slam dunk..."DID YOU GET THAT MOM?!"

Yesterday we celebrated Ainsley's 6th birthday at Incredible Pizza. She and Jack are not only cousins, they are BFFs

...but Addie thinks she pretty awesome, too

Ainsley opening her present from us. We're taking her to Disneyland with us in September. Jackson has known about this since April, but has kept it a secret this whole time. That short time (in utero) he was exposed to TOP SECRET access really rubbed off. :)

We printed off a bunch of Disney related pictures and attached them to Disney balloons. It took her awhile to figure it out...you can see little A's head behind Ainsley. As soon as Ainsley said, "OH! I want to go there so bad!" Addie started saying, "We ARE going there!" over and over. It was pretty funny. Ainsley finally figured it out and when she did, picked up Jackson in a big bear hug. We're all pretty excited for September to get here!

Ainsley and her Mimi

Mimi's birthday cake. Jackson spotted this cake on the cover of Woman's Day magazine a year or so ago in a doctor's office. He said, "This is perfect for Mimi!" I chickened out on it last year and made
this one instead, which Jackson also selected. He LOVES doing these wild cakes for his Mimi, even though Mom does most of the labor. He's kind of like the persnickety supervisor who comes in and critiques your work.

And while we are definitely filled with joy celebrating Ainsley's birthday, we also remember her sweet twin sister Abi, who went to be with Jesus on my mom's birthday six years ago.

Because my foxy husband volunteered to be a single Dad for a week, I was able to go on a girl's trip to Charleston. We had the BEST time. I'll get all my pictures uploaded over to Flickr but now, you get one...at the beach, of course.

SOMEBODY stole my camera...I wonder who?

Although I didn't take many pictures, we had a great time reunion-ing with our camp friends (really, they are more like family) at the lake over the July 4th weekend.

The kids loved throwing tennis balls for all the dogs.
Okay, so that about gets you updated. It feels like we are just getting into the groove of lazy summer days now that school is right around the corner. I've got some great Addie and Jack quotes to add, so check back soon for that.
How are you?

Sarah - great pics. Although I do not believe that kids are easier than labs...
