Excuse the Delay

Summer is wrapping up around here. Football season, to Jackson's great delight, has started up and we have enjoyed keeping up with our respective teams. Jackson refuses to acknowledge any team other than OSU and has already started planning his birthday party--which of course will be OSU themed. Frankly, it's driving me nuts.

Addie is talking up a storm these days. Her favorite things to say right now? "Mimi's naughty!", "Winda!" (Linda), "Peacock!" She loves having coffee with my mom (don't tell Addie it's just water in her little teacup) after we drop Jack off at school. As soon as we drop J off at his class, Addie runs down the hall saying, "Mimi's house!"

I have started running again thanks to a girlfriend (the previously mentioned "Winda") at church. I am training for a 5K coming up in October, with maybe a half marathon in the summer. I am enjoying it immensely. I found an easy to maintain training schedule here.
