Almost Heaven

Have you read this book: Pilgrim at Tinker Creek by Annie Dillard? I purchased it a long time ago after my friend Jenny insisted that I read it. I bought it and never got around to reading it. I found it under my bed last week (no idea how it got THERE!) and since I was between books and not in the mood to re-read any of my Austen favorites--what I usually do when I find myself without a book--I cracked it open, and fell in love. Not necessarily a book that I can't put down, but one I can't wait to pick up again...
