When the Going Gets Tough...
...the tough get going--to McDonald's. We had a big storm blow through this morning that left us without power. With no way to cook (okay, I elected NOT to unpack the propane stove) me and the kiddos jumped in the car and headed to McD's. Jackson is doing much better and I think he enjoyed getting out a bit. Afterwards we took a drive and ended up in east Broken Arrow where it still feels like you are in the country. Jackson didn't take much notice as he was reading a book, but Addie enjoyed watching the countryside from the window. We stopped by the "man store" aka: Atwoods for some stink bait and chlorine and then headed home. The power came back on shortly afterwards. What a strange day!

Summer fun, of course! I knew you'd enjoy my strange little list. The initial list was just chlorine for our stock tank swimming pool--it was Jackson who had to have the stink bait when he spied it...
How is Jack doing? Feeling better. Do I need to send Bart up to sword fight him again? I can if I need to!!!
