Little Red Tricycle

After having the company of four wiener dogs on my morning walks, I felt amazingly light this morning as I walked along with just Gus & Lu-Lu at my side. Nothing better than a morning stroll with man's best friend(s) (Do they call them that because they don't talk? Hmm, I wonder) Well, summer is over, but it's still hot! We finally got down to the boat a couple of weekends ago at the lake. Jackson caught plenty of fish and spent some time swimming in the lake with Grandma and Dad. Addie and I opted for a little nap. We drove over to Tahlequah yesterday to visit with our friends (&Ad's godparents) the Busch's. Joan had a treasure trove of age appropriate toys laid out for Jack & Addie--Jackson stayed busy all evening and sat down for maybe two bites of Mac & Cheese and only because David called it: "Red Sky's Special Mac & Cheese.
This evening David and I got tickled with Jackson. We recently bought him a tricycle and he loves to ride it. Tonight we were walking and he was riding to the park in our neighborhood. If he saw a neighbor out, he'd stop riding, ring the little bell on his bike, and wave. Once the person he was waving at waved back, he'd put his hands back on the handle bars and start peddling again. It took us about 30 minutest to reach the part, but it was certainly an entertaining trip! Have you ever seen the movie Dennis the Menace? That is what came to my mind tonight.

Addie looks so funny in that lifejacket! The two of them seem to be keeping you busy...is Jackson off to school this year?

Give everyone a big hug :)

I love the pic of the 4 weenies! We had 4 of them at the lake last weekend, too! What a trip!
