Good Meal & Mail

My lovely friend Linda made dinner for our family last night. If there is anything better than sitting down to a home cooked meal, it's sitting down to a home cooked meal that you didn't have to cook. Linda makes the kind of food that you put in your mouth and feel like you are home--do you know what I mean? Even our finicky J ate with us last night. Thanks, Linda!!!

Today a package came in the mail for David. I figured it was just another one of his books so I left it on the table unopened. Silly me, it turned out to be the Office (season 4) I've been waiting for!!! I am so excited and will be unavailable for the next few days as I catch up on my favorite show.

Before you depart, a Jackson story: I like to put little love notes in his lunch box for school. I usually write the same thing in crayon: We {heart} Jackson! When I picked him up from school today his teacher told me that they enjoyed reading Jack's notes to him at lunchtime. Jackson chimed in: "Yes, but your note was a little tricky today, Mom!" When I asked him how so, he replied: "You wrote Dad's name, too!" On the note I put all of our names instead of "we."
